Your library stays yours.

Atmos Finder privacy policy. Finalsa develops the app without advertising, analytics, tracking or a server that receives your music library.

Information sent to Apple

With your permission, MusicKit and the official Apple Music API read your library and catalog data and perform playlist actions you confirm. Apple receives the identifiers and information needed for each request. Alternative-edition searches can include a recording identifier or the selected song’s title and artist. Artwork comes from Apple’s services.

Apple manages authorization. Atmos Finder does not request, extract or store your Apple password or authorization tokens. Tapping a song on iPhone or iPad asks the system player to play it and replace its current queue; on Mac it opens the link Apple returns. Apple manages playback and listening history under its settings and policies. The app does not store audio files or listening history.

Information kept on your device

The app saves the last complete analysis and up to ten scan summaries: library and catalog identifiers, titles, artists, albums, artwork links, recording metadata, observed formats and verification dates. It also keeps a catalog cache valid for 24 hours, preferences and minimal records to prevent repeated notifications.

Managed playlists retain identifiers, names and information needed to check changes or recover an interrupted creation. Related playlists may retain up to three starting songs or artists and songs you excluded. These playlist records stay on your device.

iCloud is optional

Synchronization starts disabled. If you enable it, the latest completed analysis is sent to your private CloudKit database and uses your iCloud storage. This includes music identifiers, titles, artists, albums, artwork links, recording metadata, audio formats, region and verification dates. It excludes audio, artwork image files, passwords, tokens, playlist recovery records and prompts sent to the on-device model.

The app keeps a random installation identifier and synchronization state to recognize account changes; it does not use a hardware identifier. Disabling iCloud keeps the remote copy. Delete iCloud Copy removes the private analysis copy shared across your devices, without deleting local results or playlists. Apple and the operating system protect communications and storage. Device backups follow your Apple settings.

Optional features and permissions

Related-playlist suggestions process small batches of metadata with Apple’s model on your device. There is no cloud AI fallback and no retained model conversation.

Notifications and automatic scans start disabled. Notification permission is requested when enabled; notifications include a song count and a local scan reference, not song names. Background tasks make the same Apple requests and remain subject to iOS limits. The app does not request contacts or location.

Control and delete your information

You can revoke music access in the system privacy settings. In Atmos Finder Settings, clear the saved song list, history or cache. Clearing history also removes the saved list. A playlist’s menu can forget its local management record; the playlist stays in Apple Music.

Use Delete iCloud Copy to remove the remote analysis before removing the app. Removing only the app or turning synchronization off does not delete that copy. Clear history when switching Apple Music accounts to avoid comparing different libraries. Finalsa cannot access or delete your private iCloud analysis for you.

When you contact support

If you email support@finalsa.com, Finalsa receives your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send to handle your request. The app does not automatically send diagnostics. Avoid sharing passwords, access codes or your complete library. You can use the same email address to ask about or request deletion of information from your support conversation.

This website and external services

These public pages are served by Finalsa’s web infrastructure on AWS. Delivering a page involves processing technical connection data, such as the IP address and browser request; it does not include your music library. We do not add advertising or analytics to these pages. The site may keep an appearance preference in your browser.

Apple and email or hosting providers manage their own services under their policies. This policy describes Atmos Finder and its support; it does not replace Apple Music or iCloud policies. Updates to this policy will be published here with their date.
