Your music. Your questions, answered.

Help with connecting to the Apple Music service, analyzing your library and organizing songs by audio quality in Atmos Finder.

Help with the app

Connect Apple Music

You need iOS 18 or macOS 15 or later, an active Apple Music subscription and songs saved in your library. Atmos Finder is free and does not require a Finalsa account.

Sign in to the Music app, open Atmos Finder and choose Connect Apple Music. Accept the system permission. If you previously denied access, check Privacy & Security → Media & Apple Music in your device settings.

Analyze and keep your results

Start an analysis in the app. Large libraries can take time; progress and cancellation are available. Verified catalog checks are reused while their cache remains valid. Your last completed analysis is saved so you can browse songs again when you reopen the app.

iOS decides how long a task may continue in the background. Locking the device does not guarantee completion; force-quitting can interrupt an analysis. Reopen the app to continue when offered. An incomplete analysis does not replace your last completed result.

Understand audio formats

Spatial Audio, Lossless and Hi-Res Lossless filters describe the formats Apple advertises for that catalog recording. A song can offer several formats. This does not measure the audio currently playing on your device.

Unverified means there is not enough information to confirm availability. An alternative edition appears separately with its match confidence; it never automatically replaces your saved song.

Create or update a playlist

In Playlists, choose a quality, review the songs and confirm creation. To update a playlist managed by the app, review the new additions and confirm. Existing entries are preserved and songs are never removed from your library.

If the app confirms creation but the playlist is missing in Music, check that you use the same account and have Sync Library enabled. Choose Check in Apple Music in Atmos Finder before creating it again. Changes may take time to appear on other devices.

Use iCloud or remove an analysis

iCloud synchronization is optional and can be enabled in Settings. It uses your iCloud account to keep a private copy of analysis metadata, without audio files. Catalog region and current library membership are checked when results are reused.

Turning synchronization off keeps the iCloud copy. Use Delete iCloud Copy to remove it as well. You can clear the saved song list, history and cache in Settings; these actions do not delete your Apple Music playlists.

Optional suggestions and notifications

Related playlists need a supported device and an available local Apple Intelligence model. Analysis, filters and quality-based playlists remain available without Apple Intelligence.

Notification permission is requested only when you enable notifications. Automatic scans are optional and depend on the app being able to run; they do not update playlists without your confirmation.
